Alvin LeBlanc
September 17, 1954 - December 14, 2016
It is with deep sorrow the family announces the death of Alvin Anthony LeBlanc which occurred on December 14, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on September 17, 1954, Alvin was the son of Marie Anne Blanchard and the late Adelin Joseph LeBlanc.
Alvin worked as a handyman for the Center of Hope and with great accomplishment achieved his GED. He also was very active with O.C. Therapy at Centre Care and recently won an award for his painting “Love Again.” He could woo anyone lucky enough to hear him sing on guitar. Alvin was a kind and gentle soul and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his mother, brothers; David LeBlanc (Fonda) of Brampton, ON and Edward LeBlanc of Saint John, NB, sister; Jeanette LeBlanc (Ron), as well as several nieces and nephews.
Alvin was predeceased by his father and his sister Monique LeBlanc.
Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). A Memorial Service will be held from Castle Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Donations in Alvin’s memory can be made to Centracare, the Canadian Cancer Society, or the charity of one’s choice. www.castlefh.com
