<div itemprop="description">Dean, Robyn ”BooBoo” Curtis – It is with mixed emotions and deep sorrow the family announces the passing of BooBoo Robyn C. Dean which occurred at his residence on Saturday December 31, 2016 surrounded by his family and close friends. Born in Black’s Harbour, N.B. on July 7, 1960, he was a son of the late John Robert and Leota Addie (Cogswell) Dean. BooBoo was a member of the Labourer’s Union local #900. A kind and generous person, he loved social events and gatherings within his community with his many friends and family. BooBoo was an avid Bird Hunter (Woodcock), enjoyed the outdoors with four wheeling, off roading, and commercial fishing, but most of all, he was most happy when all his family were with him. <br> <br>BooBoo is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years Jean L.P. (Marratt) Dean, one son Justin (Rosanne), one daughter Robin (Stefan) Hettrick , both of Musquash, N.B., four brothers, Gordon Dean(Nancy), of Grand Manan, William Dean, of Lepreau,N.B., Rev. Dana Dean (Cathie), of Sussex, N.B.,Bruce “Nickie”Dean (Gloria), of Shediac Bridge, N.B., and one sister, Crystal Hunter (Jay), of Moncton, N.B., five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. <br> <br>BooBoo was predeceased by his parents John and Leota Dean, brother Johnny Dean, sister Gail Waycott, his infant son Kurtis Dean, and two infant nephews. <br> <br>The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. L. Allaby, oncology at the S.J.R.H., Extra Mural Nurses, and all his family and friends for their love and support. <br> <br>Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. have been entrusted with the arrangements. Vistation will be held on Thursday January 5, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and on Friday January 6, 2017 from 11:00 am until 2:00pm. A Memorial service will take place at Castle “Fallsview” Chapel on Friday January 6, 2017 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Dana Dean officiating. Interment will take place in the spring of 2017.
