<div itemprop="description">Catherine Louise Fowler died peacefully at Bobby&rsquo;s Hospice in Saint John, NB on June 1, 2015 at the age of 95. Louise, born in Boston, MA on June 5, 1920 was the daughter of the late Lemuel Vincent and Pearl (Brown) Vincent. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband John Fowler, sister Georgie Belyea, brother Ernie Vincent and step-son Vance. Surviving are her children &ndash; Joanne Fitzpatrick (William, children Tricia and Jason), Sharon Hartling (Albert, children Adam, Scott, Amy and Sarah), Jack Fowler (Wendy, children George and John), Joyce Fowler (children Jo-El and Jody) daughter-in-law Roberta Fowler (Vance, children Steven, Brian and Kevin).<br /><br /><br />Louise lived a good life surrounded by those who cared about her. She was proud of her 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed visits from her many nieces and nephews and was always ready to listen to their latest news. Her friends, of all ages, loved to be in her presence-especially her quilting friends. Catherine was a long-time member of the Sapphire Rebekah Lodge #37. <br /><br /><br />Louise loved her family and family history. She had many stories to tell of growing up in Boston and then moving to Browns Flat when she was 10, but her favorite story was that of meeting and marrying John in 1944. She was always ready to share one of these stories with anyone who would listen, especially grandchildren. Louise was a founding member of the Marco Polo Quilters Guild<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB (506-634-1701). Visitations will be held on Tuesday June 2, 2015 from 7:00 &ndash; 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday June 3, 2015 from 2:00 &ndash; 4:00 p.m. &amp; 7:00 &ndash; 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held from St. Mary &amp; St. Bartholomew Anglican Church (646 Westmorland Road) on Thursday June 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Louise&rsquo;s memory can be made to Bobby&rsquo;s Hospice. www.castlefh.com <br /></div>
