<div itemprop="description">Constance Marilyn, &quot; Connie &quot; Kierstead passed away with her loving family by her side at The Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, November 6th, 2015. <br /><br />Born in Saint John on July 28th, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Blanche (Williams) Wright. <br /><br />Connie is survived by her sons; John, Stephen (Janet) and Peter, all of Saint John, sisters; Sheila &ldquo;Buddy&rdquo; Elliott (Paul) of Tiverton, NS, brother Donald Erwin (Debbie), grandchildren Andrew(Caleigh), Aaron(Kristyn), Tara Thibodeau (Jon), Christopher(Chelsea), Jonathan, Melissa(Tyler), Nicholas(Lindsay), and Rachel Kierstead, and 5 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.<br /><br /> In addition to her parents, Connie was predeceased by her husband Hilson &ldquo;Pal&rdquo; Kierstead, infant son Paul, sisters Barbara J. Chivers and Constance A. Wiggins, brothers, Glendon Raynes, Ronald Raynes, and Douglas Totton.<br /><br /> Connie worked in her youth as supervisor at FW. Woolworth where she had great memories and lots of stories. After this she became a stay at home mom, she loved her family and friends more than anything. Connie loved her soaps, MASH, and John Wayne movies, always making the most of each day.<br /><br />Would like to thank the nurses at the Regional Hospital for taking special care of her during her stay.<br /><br />Resting at the Castle &ldquo;Fallsview&rdquo; Funeral Home with visitation on Monday, November 9th, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at Castle Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 10th 2015. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Flowers graciously accepted, or a memorial donation to the Heart &amp; Stroke Foundation of NB. Castle &ldquo;Fallsview&rdquo; Funeral Home, 634-1701, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, honoured to serve the family.</div>
