<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Faye Marilyn Garnett which occurred on Monday December 14, 2015 at Kings Way Care Centre. Born March 1, 1940 she was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Archibald) Garfield. Faye was a wonderful cook welcoming everyone into their home, everyone left family dinners with a full belly. Faye always enjoyed a good game of cards or yatzee. She was quite a singer especially in her younger days when she appeared on &ldquo;Uncle Bill&rdquo;. Sing-a-longs at the house with family and friends were a favorite of hers. She loved her family very much and enjoyed time with her grandchildren. Faye will be sadly missed by loving husband of 55 years John &ldquo;Jack&rdquo; Garnett; sons Blaine (Sharon) Garnett of Quispamsis, NB, Greg (Cathy) Garnett of St. Martins, NB; daughter Kelly (Phil) Stanton of Quispamsis, NB; sisters Connie (Russell) Floyd of Saint John, NB, June Garfield of Saint John, NB, Gail Fisher of Quispamsis, NB; grandchildren Brennan and Brianna Garnett, Jonathan Davis, Greg (Holly) Garnett Jr. , Bethann (Jerry) Totten and Emma Stanton; great grandchildren Hayden and Gavin Totten; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by sister Betty Garfield and brothers Alfred, Billy and Donny. <br /> <br /> <br />The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff for the excellent care given to our mother during her stay at the Kings Way Care Centre. <br /> <br /> <br />Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Keeping with Faye&rsquo;s wishes there will be no visitation. A private family Memorial Service will be held at Castle Funeral Home Chapel on Friday December 18, 2015 at 12noon. Donations in Faye&rsquo;s memory can be made to Kings Way Care Centre.</div>
