<div itemprop="description">Whitenect, Heather Joy <br /> <br />It's hard to forget someone who gave us all so much to remember. Heather Joy Whitenect, passed suddenly on March 15, 2016 at the age of 63 after an illness. Heather leaves behind her partner of 38 years Dr. Ronald Fineberg DDS, her sisters Ruth (Robert) Green, Faith (Douglas) McKenney, Alice Whitenect, her brothers, Ronald (Joanne) Whitenect, and Frank (Cathy) Whitenect, brother-in-law Martin (Stephanie) Fineberg along with his father Irwin (Peggy) Fineberg and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces nephews. <br /> <br />Heather was predeceased by her parents Jack &amp; Marguerite Whitenect. <br /> <br />Heather left behind a varied history, she studied the art of jewelry making at the New Brunswick Art College in the 1970's and used her knowledge to help patients at the Provincial Hospital with remedial tasks and furniture making. Later she opened Jammers Restaurant and shared her love of cooking. She also worked as an interim Dental Assistant to Ron. <br /> <br />Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701) have been entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Saturday March 19, 2016 1 hour before the service. A Memorial service will be held at Castle &quot;Fallsview&quot; Chapel on Saturday March 19, 2016 at 11:00 am with Rev. Andrew Morse officiating. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens following the service. Donations to the MS Society or the Joshua Group would be appreciated by the family.
