<div itemprop="description">&nbsp; <p> <strong> Ira Webster Urquhart passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on July 2, 1918 in Kars, N.B.. He was the son of the late Lloyd and Irene (Webster) Urquhart. Loving husband of the late Jennie (Smith) Urquhart. Ira served during the second world war at Aldershot, N.S. Ira was a member of the Carpenters Union and worked in Saint John for Alvin Flewelling, R.A. Woods and Wayne Moore, He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, (Central Baptist) and recently resided at McKellar&rsquo;s Special Care Home. He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Kerr, of Dartmouth, N.S., Sherry (Quentin) Langille, of Sussex, N.B.; brothers, Rev. Murray (Evelyn) of Hatfield Point, Clarence Urquhart, of Kars; six grandsons, Kevin, Colin, Gareth Kerr, Nathan, Brandon, Morgan Langille; seventeen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife, Jennie (Smith) Urquhart; brothers, Howard, Hazen and Willard; sisters, Evelyn and Cora; son-in-law, Dr. Stephen Kerr. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, &ldquo;Fallsview Chapel&rdquo;, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West, (634-1701). Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7-9 p.m.. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 2 p.m. from Castle Funeral Home. Interment will take place in the Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. There will be a reception held at the Fallsview Reception Center following interment. Donations in Ira&rsquo;s memory may be made to the charity of the donor&rsquo;s choice. </strong> </p> </div>
