<div itemprop="description">Robichaud, Irena Marie (Jean) (Maillet)- It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Irena Marie Robichaud which occurred on Tuesday February 22, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born July 1935, she was a daughter of the late Augustin and Obeline (Daigle) Maillet. <br>Jean was a quiet woman whose family were everything to her, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jean loved to travel, and go for drives to get her favorite ice cream treats at the Pumpkin Patch or the Dairy Queen. <br> <br> Jean will be forever loved by her husband of 62 years Aldei Robichaud; three sons, Steven (Pam) Robichaud, of Moncton, N.B., Robert (Judi) Robichaud, of Saint John, Andrew (Colleen) Robichaud , of Halifax, N.S., three daughters, Joan Losier (John), of Saint John, Claire Gallant (David), of Moncton, N.B. Carol (Paul) Melanson, of Saint John, five brothers, Allison Maillet, Laurie Maillet, Cageton (Theresa) Maillet, Leonce (Linda) Maillet, all of Saint John, one sister Carmella Archer, of Saint John, eleven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. <br> <br>Jean was pre deceased by her parents, one sister, Rita Sonier, and four brothers, Aurele Maillet, Edgar Maillet, Lorenzo Maillet and Rufin Maillet. <br> <br>Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). Visiting will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 3pm to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday February 27, 2017 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 12 noon. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. A reception will be held following the burial at Castle “Fallsview” reception center.
