<div itemprop="description">Brideau, Juliette - Nov 3/1918 - March 17/2017<br><br><br>It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of a beautiful lady. Known to most simply as Gram, Juliette left us on March 17, 2017 at the age of 98 after a brief stay at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Gram was a devout Roman Catholic, she attended the Assumption church where she was active in the Legion of Mary (thank you to Marion Enman for always taking her) and was also still active as a lector. In her younger years Gram loved going to bingo and knitting her baby sets.<br><br><br>Gram leaves behind her beloved daughter Angey Brideau with whom she lived til the end, granddaughter Brittany Brideau (James Estey) and precious great granddaughter Zoe. Gram is also survived by her sister Flora Johnston, sons Robert and Allan Brideau, daughters Karen Ann Mantin (Jeff) and Valerie Brideau, as well as the grandchildren she raised Debbie Palmer (Leonard), Tim and April Brideau, also grandchildren Doug Mantin, Steve Mantin (Angela Robichaud) Dave Mantin (Mel Smith), John Mantin( Josie) and Julie Whitlock (Steve), 17 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, best friend for 75 yrs Lydia Keith, and honorary granddaughter Denise Boisvert. Juliette was predeceased by husband Alphonse, brothers Phil, Arthur and Homer Boudreau, sister Leota Campbell, son Dougie Brideau, grandsons Joseph Mantin and Aaron Brideau, granddaughter Elizabeth Mantin and her much loved and very devoted granddaughter Patti Scribner<br><br><br>Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Keeping with Juliette’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held on Monday March 20, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Donations in Juliette’s memory can be made to SPCA Animal Rescue or IWK Hospital. <br></div>
