<div itemprop="description">Lucille M. Gallant passed away at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home in Saint John on Thursday March 31,2016 following a long battle with Alzheimer&rsquo;s at the age of 85. She was the daughter of the late Patrice Blanchard and Melanie (Daigle) of St. Charles, NB. She is predeceased by her loving husband Adolphe J. Gallant of Riverview, NB. Lucille is survived by her loving children Maurice (Betty Hayward), Diane (Jeff) Scott, Yvette (Blake Smith), Wayne all of Saint John, NB, Patricia (Dennis) Maybee of Henderson, Nevada, Marlene (Earl) Saunders of Lower Coverdale, NB, and Michael (Lisa) of Dieppe, NB, 8 grand-children , 2 great grandchildren, her brother Albert of Dieppe and five sisters Catherine Cormier, Roseline (Tim) Guimond both of Richibucto, NB, Yvonne Legacy, Marie Anne Leblanc both of Saint John, and Adelia (Laurie) Richard of St. Charles. As well as several Nieces and Nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Th&eacute;odore, Lionel, Ren&eacute;, Norbert, Gaspard and one sister L&eacute;ola.<br /><br /><br />Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Sunday April 3, 2016 from 2:00 &ndash; 4:00 pm &amp; 6:00 &ndash; 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Monday April 4, 2016 at 12:00noon. Interment will take place at a later date at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Lucille&rsquo;s memory can be made to Alzheimer&rsquo;s Society or the charity of one&rsquo;s choice. <br /></div>
