<div itemprop="description">Olive Jane Cogger passed away peacefully on Monday January 23, 2017 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on August 26, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ann (Nugent) Walsh. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sisters Margaret, Gertrude Butler, Geraldine Swart and her brother William (Bill). She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Frank and her daughter Nancy (Mac) of Newmarket, ON and granddaughter Maggie Cogger-Orr of Auckland, NZ and many nieces and nephews who loved “Aunt Ollie”. <br> <br>Olive was a graduate of St. Vincent’s Girls High School and retired from CentraCare Medical records in 1988. Prior to becoming a stay at home Mom, Olive worked at Moosehead Breweries and Air Canada for many years. <br> <br>Frank and Nancy are grateful to Dr. Mary Jarratt for her kindness, compassion and wonderful care, and would like to thank Marjorie from Extra Mural, the Bayshore Health Care ladies (Josee, Laura and Mary) and the nurses on 3C South at the Regional Hospital for their assistance. <br> <br>Resting at Castle Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday from 2:00 to 6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St Rose of Lima Church on Friday, January 27 at 12:00 noon. Reception will be held at Castle “Fallsview” reception center. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Spring 2017. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, remembrances in memory of Olive should be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
