<div itemprop="description">Oliver John Emery passed away peacefully on Saturday March 18, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born July 26, 1932 he was the son of the late Oliver and Eileen (Warner) Emery. Oliver worked for Canadian Pacific Railroad for 40 years and for a period of that time was the local president of the union. He was a faithful volunteer and awarded for his service with the Sisters of Charity. He had a love for his cat and other animals especially horses. Oliver will be forever remembered and loved by children Oliver R (Debbie) Emery of Quispamsis, NB, David T (Tom) (Margaret) Emery of Saint John, NB, daughter Catherine (Larry) Vautour of Saint John NB; special son Richard Titus of Saint John, NB; sister Eileen (Tom) Christenson of Ontario, step-sister Judy (Bob) Davis of North Carolina; step- brother David Ralston of Florida; grandchildren Oliver S (Misty) Emery, Jamie (Aimee) Emery, Larry (Wendy) Vautour, Laura ( John Sollows) Vautour , Phillip Vautour; great grandchildren Grace Emery, Mya Emery, Oliver AK Emery. Besides his parents Oliver was predeceased by his loving wife Mary Patricia (Wall) Emery.<br><br><br>Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 21, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Castle Funeral Home on Wednesday March 22, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in Oliver’s memory can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation. <br></div>
