<div itemprop="description">Surrounded by her loving family, Audrey Doreen (Childs) Parks, wife of the late Gregory Parks went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 22, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born April 30, 1936 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Gertrude (Dobson) Childs. <br> <br>Audrey will be dearly missed by her daughters Susan (Brent) Mercer, Deborah Parks, Patricia (Jim) Currie and Janet (Wayne) Veinot. She was a cherished Nannie to grandchildren Ryan (Alexandra) and Lindsay Mercer; Andrea, Melissa and Sarah Currie; Carly, Rebecca and Kelsey Schofield and Tianna and Makayla Veinot. She is also survived by two brothers Gerald Childs and Arthur (Betty) Childs, as well as special friend Darlene Losier and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by infant son Gregory Jr, as well as one sister and three brothers. <br> <br>She was a lifelong resident of West Saint John and a member of St. George’s Anglican church until it’s closure. Audrey loved her Lord, her family and especially her grandchildren. <br> <br> <br>Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John. Family visitation will be held Monday evening, public visitation will be January 23 from 7-9 PM and Tuesday, January 24 from 2-9 PM. A celebration of Audrey’s life will be held at Carleton Kirk United Church on Wednesday January 25, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. A reception will follow at Fallsview Reception Center. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. <br> <br>“Come to me all who are weary and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28 <br></div>
