<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Ruth Arden Kaye on Thursday January 14, 2016 at Loch Lomond Village. Born December 17, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Frances (Ferguson) Saunders. A graduate of Saint John High School class of 1947. Ruth lived most of her life in West Saint John and was a long-time member of St. Jude&rsquo;s Anglican Parish working for many years in the Insurance Industry. She loved bowling where she particularly enjoyed the challenge of defeating her husband&rsquo;s team during league activities. Over the years Ruth looked forward to spending time at her family&rsquo;s Log Falls (Musquash) cottage, cross-boarder shopping and creating memories with her children and grandchildren at Seaside Park. In her spare time Ruth was an avid Bingo player and loved to cook. She looked forward to Mondays with her sister Shirley browsing local shopping malls and sharing family memories. She will be sadly missed by son Danny (Edie) Kaye; daughter-in-law Victoria Lendorf; sisters Shirley (Donald)Young, Fredericton, Donna (Rick) Arruda, Fall River, MA; grandchildren Danny (Lana), Grand Bay, NB, Jamie, Moncton, NB; great grandson Dylan, Grand Bay, NB. Beside her parents Ruth was predeceased by husband Wardlow; beloved sons Peter and Mark; stepfather Donald Wiley.<br /><br /><br />Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held Saturday January 16, 2016 (6:00 &ndash; 8:00 pm) and Sunday January 17, 2016 (2:00 &ndash; 4:00 pm &amp; 6:00 - 8:00 pm). A Funeral Service will be held at Castle Funeral Home Chapel on Monday January 18, 2016 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Donations in Ruth&rsquo;s memory can be made to Loch Lomond Villa Foundation or the charity of choice.</div>
