<div itemprop="description"><br /> <br />Stephen Wayne Fox -It is with great sadness that the family of Stephen Wayne Fox announces his passing, which occurred on Sunday, October 5th, 2014 at Bobby&rsquo;s Hospice. Steve was born on September 29th 1950 in Saint John to the late George and Inez (Nason) Fox. He was member of IBEW Local 502 for over 40 years and worked on various construction projects throughout the Saint John area. He made many friends through his work and was well known as a reliable and conscientious worker. Steve played for several years in the Fundy Fastball League and also played pool in the Fairville Oldtimers League. <br /> <br /> Steve will be remembered by his family and friends as a humble and unselfish person who always thought of others first. He was a huge fan of music, especially Gordon Lightfoot who he got to meet backstage at a concert in 2010. He was also a gifted card player and loved to play hearts, 45&rsquo;s and cribbage. Steve is survived by his daughters; Karen (Darren Drew) and Corie (Rick Doyle), partner Patricia Day-Holloway, his brother Andy (Rossann) of Saint John West and his granddaughter Courtney. He is also survived by his stepsons; Jeremy (Lisa), Matthew and Cameron Day-Holloway brother in law Stan (Maureen) Gaudet, his cousin and best friend Brian Crilley and several nieces and nephews. He also loved his dog Lillie. Steve was predeceased by his wife Linda (Gaudet), His Sister Joan (Urquhart) and six brothers; Jim, Wes, Donald (Herk), Raymond (Bergen), George, and Gary (Doozer). The family would like to express our sincere thanks to the nurses and volunteers at Bobby&rsquo;s Hospice. Their kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers a donation to Bobby&rsquo;s Hospice, 385 Dufferin Row, Saint John West would be greatly appreciated. <br /> <br /> There will be visitation for family and friends at Castle Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Avenue from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday, October 7th and a service Wednesday, October 8th at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Castle Funeral Home, reception following. A private Interment will be held at a later date. <br /> <br />Funeral arrangements are in care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, NB, E2M 2L3. <br /> <br /></div>
