<div itemprop="description"><br /><br />Stephen O&rsquo;Halloran The death of Stephen Alphonsus O&rsquo;Halloran occurred on Wednesday, January 7th, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital following a brief illness.<br /><br />Born in Montague, Prince Edward Island on April 22nd, 1935, he was the son of the late Leo and Rose (MacDonald) O&rsquo;Halloran. <br /><br />Stephen had 38 year career with the Canadian Coast Guard, having sailed on the Foster for 20 years and retiring in 1990. Stephen enjoyed playing darts, cribbage and walking the beach with his dog Casey. He was an active member of the Adanac Club and the RCL # 69. He cherished spending time with his beloved grandsons Logan and Jackson <br /><br />He is survived by his loving wife Linda (Hachey) O&rsquo;Halloran, daughter Paula Duplessis (Ryan), grandsons; Logan and Jackson Duplessis, brother-in-law&rsquo;s William Hachey and Wallace Llewelyn as well as several nieces and nephews.<br /><br />In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Manuel O&rsquo;Halloran and his sister Cecelia O&rsquo;Halloran. <br /><br />Visitation will be held at Castle &ldquo;Fallsview&rdquo; Funeral Home on Sunday, January 11th, from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of The Assumption Church on Monday, January 12th, at 10:00 am, followed by Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.<br /><br />In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the SPCA or a charity of your choice.<br /><br />Arrangements have been entrusted to Castle &ldquo;Fallsview&rdquo; Funeral Home, (506-634-1701) 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, E2M 2L3. <br /><br /></div>
