<div itemprop="description">Surrounded by her family Viola Mable Oliver passed away peacefully on Saturday April 16, 2016 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born November 5, 1923 she was the daughter of the late John &amp; Gladys (Byers) McLeod. Viola was a well-loved and loving person. She loved her family, her whole world revolved around her children and grandchildren. Viola will be sadly missed by sons Keith (Linda) Oliver of Grand-Bay Westfield, NB and Glendon (Cecile) Oliver of Jemseg, NB; son-in-law Ronald Whittaker of Grand-Bay Westfield, NB; Grandchildren Stacey, Jennifer, Jason, Ryan, Todd, Christopher, Sarah, Keri, Dawn, Mark, Michelle, Kristen, Jennifer; 18 Great-Grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a large extended family. Besides her parents Viola was predeceased by her husband Glendon; daughter Carol Whittaker; brothers Norman, Vernon, Ronald, Thomas and infant sister Helen. <br /><br /><br />The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Rocmaura Nursing Home for the excellent care they gave to Viola over the last year. <br /><br /><br />Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 19, 2016 from 2:00 &ndash; 4:00 pm &amp; 6:00 &ndash; 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service and Reception will take place at the Anglican Church of the Resurrection Grand-Bay Westfield (20 MacDonald Ave) on Wednesday April 20, 2016 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Extension. Donations in Viola&rsquo;s memory can be made to Church of the Resurrection, Rocmaura Foundation or to the charity of one&rsquo;s choice. <br /></div>
