Many knew her as Anne-Marie, but to her family she was a wife, a mom, a nana and a matriarch. Anne-Marie in her early years lived in St.Peter’s, PEI with her mother and grandparents while her father was overseas serving in WWII. It was while she lived there that her love of her Irish roots was most celebrated. There was always a fiddle and song in the Mullin home in St Peter's. Anne-Marie spent 31 years working for various airlines, it was during this time a friend set her up on a blind date. Ernie was her blind date and life partner for 56 years. Anne-Marie was not only a politician, community activist and business woman, she was her children's and grandchildren’s biggest cheerleader. Anne-Marie was a Football mom, a track and field mom and an Irish dancer mom. When she became a Nana, she then became a very proud hockey Nana, a cadet Nana, an equestrian Nana and a Motocross Nana. Anne-Marie will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Anne Marie is survived by her loving husband, Ernest Wedge; daughters Tobi (Brian) Grosman, Q.C. of Stirling, ON; Dawn (Andrew) Joudrey of Woodmans Point, NB; son Jeffrey Wedge of Ontario; grandchildren Keenan Wedge-Joudrey, Tiernan Wedge-Joudrey, Carter Wedge, Hallie Wedge; special daughter-in-law Kimberley Prince and favourite K-9 and feline companions Sydney, Bella, Crosby & Boxer.
